About Ethan Cummings

If you're a math whiz who enjoys helping others, which career should you choose? When Ethan asked himself that question as a high school senior, the answer came easy: accounting. After finishing college in 2012 he interned at a public accounting firm, secured a full-time position in 2013 working on tax, compilations, and QuickBooks journal entries, and joined John A. Knutson & Co., PLLP in 2017 as a senior accountant on the audit side — rising to Director.

His practice today spans attestation services with construction accounting expertise, corporate, individual, and partnership tax, and QuickBooks. Ethan works alongside team members who share his desire to make clients' lives as stress-free as possible, even when it requires going the extra mile — and he doesn't shy away from tough projects: the more challenging, the better.
