About Joy McAdoo

Joy started at John A. Knutson & Co., PLLP right out of college in 2002 and has never second-guessed the decision — she appreciates the firm's team approach and work-life balance, and the opportunities it provides for leadership and growth. She became Director in 2013 and feels right at home in the firm's attest group, with an eye for presentation and attention to detail.

Her practice focuses on attestation services for construction and retail, plus individual income tax and small business tax and consulting. What she loves most: helping clients get past challenges that might otherwise cause them trouble, and delivering work that makes a tangible difference. Above all, Joy wants her clients to think of her as a resource when they have a problem. She is a member of the Association of Women Contractors and has written on pandemic relief accounting, indirect construction costs, and fraud prevention.
