About Matt Nehls

Matt is a tax manager whose mission is to build strong relationships with clients and help them achieve their goals. He began his career in audit, gaining a solid foundation in financial reporting and compliance, before transitioning to the tax side, where he now provides guidance on complex tax matters — business consulting and tax planning plus corporate, individual, and partnership tax.

Residing in Colorado, Matt has built a base of local clients in the Denver area, supporting both their personal and business financial goals — extending JAK's reach beyond Minnesota. Organized and solution-oriented, he approaches each challenge with diligence and care, and his project management experience keeps every detail on track.

He gives back as a board member of the YMCA of Northern Colorado.
